Keeping Yourself Protected Against ID Theft

With all the new advances in technology it was bound to happen.  People take what is intended for good and use it for evil.  We are talking Identity Theft.  It is on the rise and can cause more than just a little headache.  Not only can thieves take your identity, they can wipe you clean financially and ruin your credit.  It is too bad that these days something as simple as walking with your wallet in your pocket can turn into a catastrophic financial loss.  We, at Ross...

True Confessions of a Mom: Can You Hand Me My Phone?

“Can you hand me my phone?” Not an uncommon phrase in our household.  Everyone seems to have some sort of hand held electronics on their person or within arm’s reach at all times.   It seems even when we don’t, the pull of the phone can be addicting.  Many times at dinner (where there is a no phone rule) I will hear my text tone chime or the phone ring.  You would think I would ignore it, but it is too tempting.  I need to know immediately who it was, what they need and...

You did it! My question is this.  How did you...

True Confessions of a Mom: It’s Tradition

Confessions of a Mom:  It’s Tradition   “It’s Tradition” is a phrase that I grew up with.  When my sister or I would ask why we were doing something my mother would say “it’s tradition”.  When we asked why we had to go somewhere for Christmas, we were told “it’s tradition”.  That response was taken at face value.  No other explanation was needed and we didn’t ask further.  It was if this word TRADITION was shrouded in some sort of deep mystery that we...
